PANDA'S SINGING 2023 Chengdu (International) Children's Choral Music Week closed

On the evening of August 19th, the closing ceremony of the "PANDA'S SINGING" 2023 Chengdu (International) Children's Chorus Music Week was held in the Cloud Music Hall in the Business & Innovation Centre for China-Europe Cooperation, delivering a splendid performance. With the theme of "Voice Calling Voice," this event attracted excellent children's chorus groups from around the world to actively participate, building a new bridge for further promoting global cultural exchange. On the night of the event, nine vibrant, high-quality, and high-level children's chorus groups took turns to perform on the stage of the professional music hall. They showcased the charm of children's voices, touched people's hearts with their pure singing, and allowed the audience to experience the power and beauty of music.

Call for Friendship with Sound: Chengdu-Chongqing Children's Choir Sings in Unison

It is often said, "Chuan-Yu is one big family." This year, we have specially invited a choir from Chongqing to participate in the "PANDA'S SINGING" event in Chengdu. During the evening's music gala, the children from Chongqing Grand Theatre Philharmonic Children's Choir performed "Soaring with Dreams" and "Coconut Trees and Wine Bottles." Through their singing, the children have echoed the harmonious melody of the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle and conveyed the deep affection and friendship between the two regions. By playing the "Unison Symphony" and singing the "Tale of Two Cities," we aim to create an artistic circle between the two cities and contribute to the development of the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle. Together, we will promote a new pattern of international cultural exchange, connecting the world through the dual poles of Chengdu and Chongqing.

Calling the World with Sound: CHINA-FRENCH Exchange Builds a Bridge of Friendship

In August of this year, the organizing committee of the "PANDA'S SINGING" 2023 Chengdu Children's Chorus Music Week, upholding the beautiful wish of "calling with sound," built an international stage and invited the China-French Blue Iris Children's Chorus to visit France for an exchange. With their innocent and tender voices, they responded to the wonderful expectations of French children and deepened the friendship between China and France through music.

To realize the two-way exchange of international children's choruses, the "PANDA'S SINGING"  organizing committee extended a sincere invitation to the French Girls' Chorus of the Saint-François Music Academy, inviting them to experience the beauty of Chengdu and listen to its sounds. At the music festival, the French Girls' Chorus, invited to participate in the "PANDA'S SINGING"  2023 Chengdu (International) Children's Chorus Music Week, performed "Sous le ciel de Paris" (Under the Sky of Paris) and "Ilest bel et bon" (He is Handsome and Kind). With their exquisite singing skills and unique artistic expression, they won enthusiastic applause from the audience. At the same time, the French Girls' Chorus also fulfilled their wish to come to China, further deepening the cultural exchange between China and France.

Calling the soul with sound, music conveys love and warmth at the event. 

And there is a special choir, they are the Vision of Beauty Parent-Child Choir. They are a group of children who are passionate about music and pursue it. They have found their own confidence and joy in music. They use music to convey their stories. Although they cannot see the world with their eyes, they can pursue brightness in music because love is their eyes. The song "Greetings of the Four Seasons" truly achieves the "calling of sound with sound". They ignited the enthusiasm of the audience with their own singing, allowing people to feel the boundlessness and power of music.

The 2023 Chengdu (International) Children's Choir Music Week is organized by the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and the China Chorus Association as the invited guiding units. The Information Office of Chengdu Municipal People's Government, Chengdu Municipal Bureau of Culture, Broadcast-TV, and Tourism, Chengdu Committee of Communist Youth League of China, and the Chengdu People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries serve as the guiding units. The Party and Mass Work Department of the Sichuan Tianfu New Area Party Working Committee and Chengdu Radio.

The successful hosting of the event not only showcases the charm of Chengdu as a world-renowned cultural city but also promotes the rapid development of Chengdu's music industry. At the same time, it is hoped that through such activities, more people can understand and pay attention to the importance of music in the spiritual world of individuals, allowing the power of music to play a greater role in people's lives.
